Mom, Joseph, Maren and I wrapped up some last minute shopping that morning (that was definitely a first - shopping on Christmas Eve - and a last!) We rushed home to finish all the Christmas preparations. Mom pretty much made the entire feast all by herself (THANK YOU x a million!) while little elves wrapped like mad and others entertained kids.
We had a delicious dinner that started off with our British tradition of opening "crackers."
Maren had the hardest time opening hers! ;)
[FYI the paper crowns we are sporting the in the following pictures are found in the "crackers" along with a small prize.]
Rooster enjoying her food and showing off her new ring (don't miss the gravy all down her stomach.)
Our GQ couple
The sensational single siblings
Farnsworths (this is Elaine 2 days post delivery - looking amazing!)
Grandpa helping Spencer put together his new puzzle.
Dinner was followed by another favorite tradition. Reading the account of the Jesus' birth from Luke 2 complete with reenactment.
And the last tradition: new jammies to wear for Christmas morning. (Kurt and I even got matching pajama pants.) Grandma got all the grandkids matching jammies this year. I love the girls, they are the cutest jammies, EVER. Somehow I didn't end up with a great picture of all of them together.
