This is something I have been thinking a lot about lately.
It is the number one reason we bought more land.
But the thing is you can still learn how to work even if you don't live on a farm.
So the question that has been haunting me...do my children not have a work ethic because their mother doesn't?

Ok your kids work great when they come to my house. They pick up the toys when asked, they set the table and help get food ready and always clear their plates. Emma is a super helper and can clean a room faster than the rest of them can all together.
UUUMMMM... you have 5 kids and no nanny, cook, or live in help. YOu are non stop working.
