One day this week when I picked up Austin from football practice he asked me, "What happened to your diamond?" I look down at my engagement ring (that I always wear on my right hand) and saw that the diamond was gone. So sad! I showed Kurt when he got home that night & then threw the ring away. I had no idea where the diamond could have gone and I was for sure not going to ask for another so I didn't see any reason to keep it. The waffle maker that we got for our wedding also bit the dust this week. 18 must be the year to wear it out. Both items brought lots of joy over the course of those 18 years.
