This week was physically and emotionally exhausting for me. I didn't sleep much the beginning of the week trying to help Lucy with her broken elbow and managing the pain. The lack of sleep continued with robotic competition prep. As December grew closer and as we begun the Christmas season my heart was so heavy missing Nicole. Simply put I just wanted her home for Christmas. After we got home from the robotics competition I headed straight to the temple. I desperately needed the peace that only the temple could bring. I was very emotional but eventually, the peace did come (and so did a cold score.) I pray as I strive to light the world this Christmas season that the peace will stay & my heart will not be so heavy.
