Family Activity Advent

One of the Christmas Advent calendars we had going in December was the family activity advent (picture shown in December's "advent" post.) We had SO much fun with it all month long! I wanted to share some the activities we did.

Decorate the Christmas tree


Make a paper chain

Game Night (we played CARS "uno".)

Make an ornament (check out previous post "ornament exchange.")

Make paper snowflakes


Dance to Christmas music

Drink hot chocolate with marshmallows

Make a wreath

Bake something yummy



Drink Root Beer Floats

Use puppets to tell a bed time story

Watch a Christmas movie

Make Christmas cards


Use the nativity to tell a story

Make an ornament for the birds (check out previous post "Christmas miracle.")

Dress up Fancy for dinner


Have an indoor picnic

Take goodies to your neighbor

Do a secret act of service

Have a nativity fashion show


Make a fort by the Christmas tree
