My non-verbal communicator said her first complete sentence this week.
"I like candy canes!"
LOL
She was being so silly and kept repeating it over and over (probably b/c we thought she was hilarious.) After the amount of candy canes consumed over the holidays I'm not surprised that that was her first sentence.

She read Brooke books today! I was reading both of them books and couldn't get a word in because I was talking over her gibberish the whole time. So I just stopped talking and Brooke listened to Ruth tell the story in her own language pointing at pictuers and laughing.
